The program, which aims to plant and nurture 20,000 trees, officially kicked off in Chikwawa with a large-scale tree planting event that brought together company representatives, community members, students, and key stakeholders.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The launch event saw hundreds of participants coming together to plant the first batch of trees, marking the beginning of a two-year sustainability program designed to combat deforestation, mitigate climate change, and promote a greener future. Recognizing the challenges of maintaining tree survival, Press Corporation plc has partnered with the Department of Forestry to conduct quarterly assessments, ensuring the trees are well taken care of. Schools and communities demonstrating exceptional stewardship of the planted trees will be rewarded for their efforts.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Speaking at the event, Press Corporation plc\u2019s CEO, Ronald Mangani, highlighted the company\u2019s long-term commitment to sustainability and corporate social responsibility.\u00a0<em>\u201cPress for Nature is more than just a tree-planting exercise\u2014it is a commitment to protecting our environment and empowering communities to take an active role in conservation.
